It is July 2026, and Rheinmetall plans to begin producing lethal ammunition this month in the heart of Berlin. This will be the first weapons factory in Berlin since World War II. This is a moment when how we, as human beings, react will make all the difference.
Rheinmetall stands in solidarity with Israel and supplies weapons to Israel’s genocidal government and army. The Israeli regime systematically commits crimes against humanity and, despite a supposed ceasefire, continues to kill people every day. The German government and arms industry are complicit in the genocide in Palestine, the occupation of Lebanon, and the attacks on Syria and Iran.
As a society, we now face a choice: Do we condone the killing of people through our silence? Or do we speak out against the crimes committed by governments and the arms industry?
We’ve made our decision! Since March, we’ve been protesting against the new Rheinmetall weapons factory in Berlin. Because, as human beings, we have a responsibility to stand in the way of genocide and crimes against humanity—especially where they are made possible in the first place in the country where we live.
We’re deciding RIGHT NOW what happens next here in Berlin! Will having a weapons factory in Wedding become the new normal, or will we put up resolute resistance? We have the chance to shut down this murderous factory. And we’re going to take it.
Our protest phase begins on Wednesday, July 8. We are coming together as people from Berlin and all over Germany to protest together. We will use our bodies to block Rheinmetall’s ammunition production.
