On the night of October 2, 2025, the Global Sumud Flotilla was illegally intercepted in international waters, and the people on board were abducted by the Israeli army. The German federal government has a responsibility to do everything in its power to stop the genocide in Palestine. It should therefore have supported and protected the mission of the Global Sumud Flotilla. Instead, the government remains silent. We are showing: The government has blood on its hands!

For years, people in Palestine have been losing everything every single day. People who want to—and always have wanted to—laugh, dream, and live. They lose their homes, their loved ones, their lives. Parents search for bread and water; families hope for a tomorrow without having to endure the daily horror of this world. We have erected memorials in various cities to hold the German federal government accountable. It is guilty of complicity in genocide and tramples on international law. We commemorate the people killed in Palestine with utter disbelief and break the deadly silence in Germany.
