Protests in Berlin: Stop arms production in Berlin!

Starting in the middle of the year, Rheinmetall plans to officially begin producing ammunition right in the heart of Berlin.
But they can only do that if we let them.
That’s why we’re gathering in Berlin from July 8 to July 15 to resolutely stand in the way of this production.

Why is civil resistance against the arms factory in Berlin necessary?

Here in Germany, Rheinmetall manufactures weapons used to kill people. And Rheinmetall is deliberately expanding its weapons production - including in Berlin. Right in the heart of Wedding, in Berlin, Rheinmetall is opening a weapons factory. That is where ammunition designed to kill people will be manufactured.

Through its arms deliveries to the Israeli terrorist state, Rheinmetall facilitates the genocide in Palestine - and even profits from it. When the Israeli army kills people in Palestine, Berlin is complicit in that!

We cannot rely on politicians, because they enable injustice instead of preventing it. They supply weapons to war criminals, prioritize profit over human lives, and facilitate genocide. That is why we must take action ourselves.

As long as international law is violated, profit is prioritized over human life, and justice is denied, we will engage in nonviolent civil resistance. Together, we stand against the Rheinmetall arms factory in Berlin. Whereweapons are produced to destroy, where genocide is prepared and enabled, we take a stand and resist. We will not allow more and more weapons designed to kill people to be manufactured right in the heart of our city. We are coming together to oppose the production and export of weapons in Berlin and throughout Germany!

Donate to help cover the costs of the protest days:

To carry out peaceful resistance against complicity in the genocide in Palestine and Lebanon, against the arms factory in Berlin, and for a more just world, we rely on your support.

Our protest phase in Berlin is over, and we have sent a strong, peaceful message against genocide. Since we don’t have any major financial backers, all of this was pre-funded by the movement itself. To remain able to act and prepare for the next phase, we must now collectively cover the actual material costs totaling 8,650 euros. These costs consist of 4,200 euros for 1,200 hot meals, 3,200 euros for safe venues, 900 euros for materials and logistics, and 350 euros for flyers and posters. Every contribution, no matter how large or small, helps close this gap and supports our work. Thank you for being part of this resistance!
